10日ぶりに日記書く
いつものルーティーン　最近血圧が上昇してる　涼しくなってきたせいだろうか
昨日でかけたが調子悪かった　一日中足が地についていない感じだった　それでもその状態で飲んでもおかしくならなかったのはすくわれた
帰宅したらすぐに寝てしまった　なんか最近よく眠れる　季節の変わり目だから？
機能はすべてうまく行かなかった　ドクターイエローは見ることすらままならず　飛行場では７４７の離陸　録画ボタン押し忘れ　飲んだ後電車内で座りたかったが大宮まで座れず　一日体調も優れず良いこともなかった　今日はどうだろうか？

The Train That Arrived with the Morning

朝と一緒にやってきた列車

It was a quiet morning at a small railway station.
小さな駅に、静かな朝が訪れていました。

The sun was just beginning to rise above the mountains.
太陽が、ちょうど山の向こうから昇り始めたところでした。

Nao-1 stood alone on the platform, waiting for the first train.
なおいちは一人でホームに立ち、始発列車を待っていました。

The air was cool, and there was a little mist around the tracks.
空気はひんやりしていて、線路のまわりには薄い霧がかかっていました。

He looked down the railway line and wondered where the train would take him today.
彼は線路の先を見つめながら、今日はその列車が自分をどこへ連れて行ってくれるのだろうと思いました。

Then he heard a distant sound.
そのとき、遠くから音が聞こえてきました。

It was the sound of a train approaching.
列車が近づいてくる音でした。

Nao-1 smiled.
なおいちは微笑みました。

“Here it comes.”
「来た。」

The train slowly appeared through the morning mist.
列車は朝霧の向こうから、ゆっくり姿を現しました。

Its windows reflected the golden sunlight.
車窓には、黄金色の朝日が映っていました。

When the train stopped, the door opened quietly.
列車が止まると、ドアが静かに開きました。

Nao-1 stepped inside and found a seat by the window.
なおいちは車内に入り、窓側の席を見つけました。

As the train began to move, the station slowly disappeared behind him.
列車が動き始めると、駅はゆっくりと後ろへ消えていきました。

He watched the scenery change from houses to fields, and then from fields to mountains.
彼は、景色が家々から田園へ、そして田園から山へと変わっていくのを眺めました。

For a moment, he forgot where he was going.
ほんの一瞬、彼は自分がどこへ向かっているのかを忘れていました。

He simply enjoyed being on the train.
ただ、列車に乗っていることを楽しんでいました。

Then he noticed something written on the window.
すると、窓に何か書かれていることに気づきました。

It was only a small message, written by someone long ago.
それは、ずっと昔に誰かが残した小さなメッセージでした。

“Every morning is a new beginning.”
「毎朝は、新しい始まり。」

Nao-1 read the words again.
なおいちは、その言葉をもう一度読みました。

He thought about all the journeys he had taken before.
彼は、これまでに歩んできたたくさんの旅を思い出しました。

Some journeys had been exciting.
楽しかった旅もありました。

Some had been difficult.
大変だった旅もありました。

And some had brought back memories he thought he had lost forever.
そして、永遠に失ってしまったと思っていた記憶を、もう一度連れてきてくれた旅もありました。

But the train kept moving forward.
それでも列車は、前へ進み続けていました。

Nao-1 looked out at the morning sky and smiled.
なおいちは朝の空を見つめ、微笑みました。

Maybe we don’t need to know exactly where the next journey will take us.
もしかすると、次の旅がどこへ連れて行ってくれるのか、正確に知る必要はないのかもしれません。

Sometimes, it is enough to get on the train and see what happens.
ときには、列車に乗って、その先で何が起こるのかを見てみるだけでいいのです。

Outside the window, the sun was shining brighter now.
窓の外では、太陽が少しずつ明るく輝き始めていました。

And somewhere ahead, another beautiful day was waiting for him.
そしてその先には、また新しい一日が、彼を待っていました。

The train continued into the morning.
列車は朝の中へ、走り続けていきました。
