Hello! I’m Emi.

Good morning! My name is Emi, and I’m 34 years old. I work as a baker at a small neighborhood bakery. Every morning, my alarm rings at 3:30 a.m., long before the sun comes up. Although waking up so early is never easy, I always look forward to seeing my customers smile when they taste our freshly baked bread.

I’ve loved baking since I was a child. My grandmother often baked bread at home, and I used to help her measure the flour, mix the dough, and watch it rise. The wonderful smell of warm bread filled the whole house, and those memories inspired me to become a baker.

My favorite part of the job is making traditional Japanese milk bread and crispy French baguettes. I also enjoy creating seasonal breads with fresh ingredients such as sweet potatoes in autumn, strawberries in spring, and pumpkin in winter. I believe every loaf of bread has its own personality, so I always try to bake each one with care and patience.

Working in a bakery is hard work. I spend many hours standing, lifting heavy bags of flour, shaping dough, and cleaning the kitchen. Sometimes I feel tired, but hearing a customer say, “This is the best bread I’ve ever had,” makes every early morning worthwhile.

Outside of work, I enjoy visiting other bakeries to discover new ideas. Whenever I travel, I always look for local bakeries because every town has its own unique flavors and traditions. I keep a small notebook where I write down interesting recipes, baking techniques, and flavor combinations that inspire me.

When I have a day off, I like taking walks in quiet parks, reading mystery novels, listening to relaxing piano music, and drinking freshly brewed coffee with a warm croissant. Those peaceful moments help me recharge for another busy week.

One of my dreams is to open my own bakery someday. I imagine a cozy little shop with wooden shelves, fresh flowers by the entrance, and the wonderful aroma of bread welcoming everyone who walks in. I want it to be a place where people can relax, chat with friends, and leave with both delicious bread and happy memories.

I believe that bread is more than just food. It brings people together around the table, comforts us on difficult days, and makes ordinary mornings feel special. That is why I put my whole heart into every loaf I bake.

Thank you for reading my story. If you ever visit my bakery, I’d be delighted to recommend my freshly baked bread. I hope it brings a smile to your face and makes your day a little brighter. Have a wonderful day, and don’t forget to enjoy the little things in life!
